Payment and Refund Policy:
Advance payment should be made to SHAPE via cash, cheque, debit, VISA or MASTERCARD. Payment is due at time of registration.

Our Couterbalanced Forklift and Aerial Platform courses are held off-site. Payment must be made in advance to the SHAPE office. You cannot pay for this course at the training site.

If you cannot attend a course and wish to receive a refund, you must give us at least 72 hours notice by phone or in person. We cannot issue refunds if less than 72 hours notice is given.

Additional course dates may be added on demand. Courses may be subject to cancellation. Unless otherwise noted all courses will be held in our training centre. We would be happy to book a group class for you if you have the minimum amount of participants. Call for more information.

Attendance:
We ask that you show up for course approximately 15 minutes before the posted start time.

Please be advised that we are not able to admit anyone into the course more than 10 minutes after the posted start time.

Weekend/Evening Courses:
Upon arriving, you will need to buzz the Course Receptionist to gain access to the building. The buzzer number is 0280.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU

Identification:
You will need to bring one piece of photographic identification.

Acceptable photographic identification:
• Valid Canadian or U.S. Driver's License
• Valid Passport
• Valid B.C. Student Identification Card Issued for the Current School Year
• Employee Picture Identification Card
• Native Status Picture Identification Card
• British Columbia Photo Identification Card (digital) issued November 1996 or after

If you do not have a valid piece of photographic identification, you may bring one piece of identification listed in the primary list below and two pieces of identification from the secondary list below.

Primary:
• Birth Certificate
• Canadian Citizenship ID
• Canadian Record of Landing
• Canadian Student Visa
• Canadian Work Visa
• Returning Resident Permit


Secondary:
• Naturalization Certificate
• Marriage Certificate
• Change of Name Certificate
• Parole Certificate
• Correctional Service Conditional Release Card
• Valid Credit Card (must have name on card)
• Bank Card (must have name on card)
• Vehicle Registration
• Firearms Acquisition Certificate
• Social Insurance Card
• B.C. Care Card
• W.C.B. OFA Level 1, 2, or 3 Certificate
• W.C.B. Transportation Endorsement

Comfortable Clothes:
Since courses, such as the Occupational First Aid, will involve exercises where you will have to kneel and/or sit on a carpeted surface, it is advised that you wear long, comfortable pants.

Metered parking is available in front of building at a cost of $1 for every 30 minutes (maximum 2 hours at a time).

Here is a list of free parking that is available within a one block radius of the SHAPE training centre:
• Eastbound on 8th Avenue, between Hemlock and Birch (behind the Mercedes Dealership). Free parking after 6 pm on weekdays and all day weekends.
• Southbound on Hemlock, between 8th Avenue and Broadway. Free after 6 pm on weekdays and all day weekends.
• Southbound on Hemlock, between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue. Free after 6 pm weekdays and Saturday. Free all day Sunday.
• Eastbound on 7th Avenue, between Hemlock and Birch. Free all day Saturday and Sunday.
• Westbound on 7th Avenue, between Hemlock and Birch (in front of the Lotus Eaters Restaurant). Free weekdays after 6 pm and all day weekends.
• Southbound on Birch, between 8th Avenue and Broadway. No parking restrictions.
• Northbound on Birch, between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue. No parking restrictions.
• Southbound on Birch, between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue. Free after 6 pm on weekdays and all day weekends.
